CHRISTINE SEEGER Died on Friday - Funeral to be Held Monday Afternoon The spirit life of Mrs. Christine Seeger, a well known resident of Tyrone, passed from time to eternity at 1:30 Friday afternoon. Mrs. Seeger, whose maiden name was Brown, was born in Wittenberg, Germany, 69 years ago. She came to this country and to Tyrone when 19 years old, and lived here ever since, with the exception of four years residence at Houtzdale. She was united in marriage to John Martin Seeger, August 13, 1871. To this union ten children were born, four of whom preceded their mother to the grave. Those surviving are: Mrs. Francis Hand, Mrs. Cloyd Miller, Edward Seeger and Mrs. Harry Bowser, all of Tyrone; Mrs. Charles Morissey, of Turtle Creek. Mr. Seeger died fourteen years ago. She is also survived by twenty-six grand children. Mrs. Seeger had been in failing health for four years, but the final break down of her physical powers dates from four weeks ago when she showed symptoms of uremic poison. This trouble caused her death, which occurred at the hospital at Hollidaysburg, at the time mentioned. The body was brought to the home of her son, Edward Seeger, on Columbia Avenue. Funeral services were held at 2.30 Monday afternoon, at the German Lutheran Church of which Mrs. Seeger was a faithful member. Interment in Grandview Cemetery, Snyder Township, Tyrone. Reverend F. Beiswenger, of Pittsburgh, will have charge of the services. Mrs. Seeger was a woman of strong character and exemplary life, whose goodness was nowhere so clearly shown as in her home life and whose children may well rise up and call her blessed.
