All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _______________________________________________ ANTHONY SEIDEL Anthony Seidel, for forty-seven years an employee of the P.R.R. as a machine shop hand, died at his home, 502 Second avenue, yesterday morning after a short illness, suffering from pneumonia. He was a native of Austria and was born on May 14, 1854. He came at an early age to this city with his parents. Two sons, George and Raphael, are serving in the American forces in France. He was married on May 23, 1882, to Miss Anna D. Hughes, who survives with the following children, besides the two mentioned above: Miss Josephine A., Miss Elizabeth I., and Miss Mary C., of home, and a sister Mrs. Anna Resig, and three brothers, Joseph, John and Charles, of this city. He was a member of St. Mary's German Catholic church. A son, Frank, died last Thursday from pneumonia. The funeral will take place Monday morning at 9 o'clock with requiem high mass at the church.
