Sell, Aged 37, of 419 Bell Avenue, Succumbs to Ailment at Mercy Hospital Suffering a sudden heart attack Saturday morning, Dr. Byron Monroe Sell, M.D., aged 37, of 419 Bell Avenue died at Mercy hospital at 8.40 o'clock last night. The attack is believed to have resulted from the exertion attendant to a recent hunting trip. Dr. Sell was a member of the Mercy hospital staff and was active in the work of the Altoona clinic. He was a member of the Blair County Medical society, a member of the Pennsylvania State Medical society, and an ordained minister of the Church of the Brethren, holding membership in the First Church of the Brethren in the city. Born in the city on July 5, 1897, a son of Daniel M. and Mrs. Nancy (Dilling) Sell, the latter deceased, he was graduated from the Altoona High school in the class of 1916. He continued his education at Juniata college where he received the degree of bachelor of science in 1920. In 1924 he was graduated from Jefferson Medical college in Philadelphia with the degree of doctor of medicine. He was united in marriage with Miss Ada Shank Cassell of Souderton on Dec. 8, 1924. Surviving are his wife, five children, Byron, Daniel, Carl, Virginia and Helen, his father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Sell all of the city, and the following sisters: Mrs. Annetta Ross and Mrs. Lorna Geisinger both of the city, Mrs. Agnes Miller of Leamersville, Mrs. Olive Underkoffler of White Plains, N.Y., Mrs. Kathryn Boland of the city and Misses Mary and Corinda Bell of the city. The body may be viewed at the home after 7 o'clock this evening. Funeral services will be held at the First Church of the Brethren at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning.
