SELL, Of Duncansville RD 2, died at 7:05 p.m. yesterday, Feb. 23, 1977, at Nason Hospital, Roaring Spring, after a brief illness. Mr. Sell retired in 1972 from the Penn Central as a machinist with 47 years' service. He was born Feb. 8, 1907, in Roaring Spring, a son of Stephen and Ella (Metzker) Sell, and married Thelma L. Riley, who died March 1, 1972. Surviving are five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and a brother and two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Replogle and Emory W. of Roaring Spring and Mrs. Geneva Herbert of Norfolk, Va., Mr. Sell was a member of the First Brethren Church, Leamersville. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Everett Post, American Legion, and Fort Bedford Post, Bedford VFW. Friends will be received in the John L. Thompson Funeral Home, Roaring Spring, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. SELL - Services for Irvin R. Sell of Duncansville RD 2 will be held in the John L. Thompson Funeral Home, Roaring Spring, at 2 p.m. Saturday by the Rev. Christian Arndt. Interment in Everett Cemetery. Friends will be received in the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
