SELWITZ Of 2410 Eleventh street died suddenly of a stroke Saturday evening at a local hospital after having been in ill health for the past eight years. He was born on Oct. 19, 1888, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry F. Selwitz, and on Dec. 8, 1915, married Miss Helen S. Leader, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard E. Leader, now residents of Philadelphia. Prior to his illness Mr. Selwitz was employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad company, serving as an inspector and machinist. Surviving are his wife, three sons and one daughter, Henry E., Howard R., Harvey P. and Helen Jeanne, and his father, all at home; one sister and one brother, Mrs. W. R. Knauer of Narberth and Hugh S. Selwitz of Philadelphia. Mr. Selwitz was a member of the First Lutheran church and of the Royal Arcanum. The body may be viewed at the Lafferty funeral home. SELWITZ - Funeral services for Edward C. Selwitz of 2410 11th St. will be held at the Lafferty funeral home at 1 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Interment will be made in Rose Hill cemetery.
