SETTLE.

  Mrs. Elizabeth Settle died at her home in Henrietta on last Thursday 
afternoon of a complication of diseases.  She was born at Entriken, 
Huntingdon county, Jan. 12, 1858, and therefore was aged 60 years, 3 
months and 13 days.  She was a daughter of John and Mary Long 
(deceased), and was united in marriage to William Settle Oct. 26, 1882.  
She was survived by her husband and the following children: Mrs. Jennie 
Miller of Henrietta, Mrs. Belle Walter of Canoe Creek, Mrs. Junetta 
Taylor of Boyne City, Charles of Bossler station and Mary, Eldon, 
Amanda and Henry, all at home.  She was a consistent member of the 
Church of God of Henrietta and was well liked by everyone.  The funeral 
services were conducted yesterday afternoon by her pastor, Rev. W. H. 
Snyder.  Interment was made in the Treese cemetery.
