Mrs. Clara Shaffer, wife of Scott Shaffer, died Sunday, August 3, 1941, at her
home at Hyndman, Bedford county, Penna. Death was attributed to a heart condition.

Mrs. Shaffer was the oldest daughter of the late Reverend A. C. And Mary Yount
Miller.  She was a lifelong member of the Evangelical Church of Hyndman.  

She is survived by her husband, three sons, and two daughters.

Funeral services were held this Wednesday, afternoon at two o'clock at her home
in Hyndman.

Mrs. Shaffer was a sister of Mrs. Harry C. Edmonds of Fairmount City and was
well known to many people in this vicinity.
