She was born Sept, 15, 1893, in Warriors Mark, the daughter of Nathaniel and Mary (Newcomer) Lytle, and Nov. 12, 1919, married William Albert Schaffer, who died in 1967. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Roberts, with whom she had resided, and three grandsons, Mrs. Schaffer was a member of the First English Lutheran Church, Tyrone, where she had taught Sunday School for 50 years. She was also a member of the PRR Retired Group, Retired Club of Juniata, Senior Citizens Chorus and Altoona and Tyrone Golden Age clubs. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Getz & Searer Funeral Home, Tyrone. SCHAFFER - Services for Florence May Schaffer, formerly of Tyrone, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Getz & Searer Funeral Home, Tyrone, by Pastor R. Ray Evelan. Interment in Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home.
