SHAFFER Of Box 301-A, RD 2, Broad Avenue Extension, died at 9:50 a.m. yesterday in Mercy Hospital after a brief illness. She was born March 22, 1915, in Roaring Spring, a daughter of Robert Q. and Anna (Burleigh) Hall, and married Mearle C. Shaffer Sr. on April 20, 1932, in Cumberland, Md. Surviving are her husband, three daughters and a son, Mrs. M. Lucille Lytle of Harrisburg, Mearle Jr., with the Navy in Newport, R.I., Miss Lois A., at home, and Mrs. Patricia L. Garland of Beltsville, Md.; three grandchildren, her father of Martinsburg and three sisters, May L. Hall of Huston, Tex., Mrs. Jane Corle of Syracuse, N.Y., and Mrs. Virginia Sell of Martinsburg. Mrs. Shaffer was of the Lutheran faith. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
