Mrs. Eliza Shank an aged resident of Duncansville, died yesterday morning at 9.30 o'clock, at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. T. F. Garman, of Berwind-White, of diseases incident to old age. The aged lady was visiting Mrs. Garman, and took sick while there, sinking rapidly until the end. She was born in Blair county and resided in Duncansville during the greater portion of her life and at the time of her death was aged 85 years. Her husband, Levi Shank, preceded her to the grave twelve years ago. The deceased is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Harry Troy, of Dry Run, and Mrs. Calvin Langham, of Frankstown Road, also by one sister, Mrs. Catherine Graffius, of Altoona, and by fourteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The funeral services will be held at the home of T. H. Gorman, at Berwind-White, at 2 o'clock on Friday afternoon. The cortege will proceed to Carson valley for interment.
