CHARLES W. SHAW

Of East Freedom, who died about 6:50 o'clock, Thursday morning of a 
heart attack in the Altoona works, was born at East Freedom, Mar. 21, 
1887, a son of Henry and Barbara (Weyandt) Shaw. He married Miss Mary 
Jane Wysong, Sept. 14, 1909, in St. Patrick's Catholic church, Newry.  
Mr. Shaw had been employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad company for the 
past 48 years.  Surviving are his wife, Six sons and daughters, William 
of Duncansville, Mrs. Pearl Lingenfelter of McKee, Mrs. Martha Glass of 
Summerhill, Mrs. Grace Shultz of Williamsburg, Charles and Roy of East 
Freedom and 13 grandchildren. One son preceded him in death. He was a 
member of St. Patrick's Catholic church, Newry, and of the Maccabees in 
Altoona.  Friends will be received at the home.
