SHAW A well known retired carpenter of the Altoona shops of the Pennsylvania railroad, died at his home, 617 Sixth avenue, Juniata, at 4.15 o'clock this morning. Deceased was born in Marionsville, known as Puzzletown, in Blair county, Feb. 25, 1863, and was a son of John and Elizabeth Shaw, both deceased. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Jessie Shaw; one daughter, Ella, of Michigan; one son, Edgar Shaw of Cleveland, and one step-son, Wesley Staines of Juniata. He also leaves two brothers, A. P. Shaw of Newry and H. B. Shaw of Columbus, O. He was employed in the Altoona car shops of the Pennsylvania railroad for thirty- nine years and ten months, retiring from the position of carpenter on July *, 1926.
