Shaw of Box 16, East Freedom RD 1, pastor of the Dry Run Gospel Tabernacle Church, died at 1:24 a.m. today in Altoona Hospital, following an extended illness. Rev. Shaw was born June 2, 1913, in Altoona, a son of Lewis and Martha (Leighty) Shaw, and married Eleanor W. Sharpless in October 1934, in Altoona. Surviving are his wife, two sons and four daughters, Boyd A. of McKee, Mrs. Barbara Young of Scranton, Mrs. Leona Lanzendorfer of East Freedom and Shirley, Wayne and Naomi, all at home; six grandchildren and three brothers and two sisters, Roy Shaw, Mrs. Elva Wertz, Wilbur Shaw and Roy Miller, all of Altoona, and Mrs. Nora Vandrew of Duncansville. Rev. Shaw had broadcast "The Gospel Life-Line Hour" for the past 17 years on radio stations WVAM and WJSM. Friends will be received in the Liebegott Funeral Home, Duncansville, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 10 p.m. tomorrow and 10 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday and thereafter in the church until the time of the service. SHAW - Funeral services for the Rev. Lewis F. Shaw of Box 16, East Freedom RD 1, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Dry Run Gospel Tabernacle Church, with the Rev. A.R. Ewing officiating. Interment in the church cemetery. Friends will be received in the Liebegott Funeral Home, Duncansville, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 10 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday and thereafter in the church until the time of the service.
