Shaw, junior member of the firm of Citsman & Shaw, the land-lords at the Kellerman house, Gaysport, died at that hostelry on Wednesday night, at 11:50 o'clock, after an illness of several weeks' duration, of enlargement of the liver. The deceased was a son of Alexander Shaw, now deceased, and Hannah Shaw, and was born at Poplar Run, on August 6, 1875. He served in the capacity of bar clerk at the Portage hotel, Duncansville, and at several Altoona hotels. He had been associated with Mr. Citsman in the conducting of the Kellerman house for the past year. He is survived by his wife, Alice, and three children: Miss Eva, and Masters Guy and Valentine. He also leaves his aged mother, Mrs. Hannah Shaw, of Newry, and these brothers: Lloyd, of Juniata township; Wilson, of Newry; Miles and Edwin, of Blair township; James, of McKees Gap; Lewis, of South Altoona, and Charles, at home. He was a member of the Altoona lodge, No. 74, Loyal Order of Moose; the Modern Woodmen of America, and the Bartenders union. The funeral services will be held on Saturday afternoon.
