All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _______________________________________________ SHEETS Hiram Lewis Sheets died at his home, 710 Eleventh street, this city, yesterday evening at 5 o'clock, death being caused by cancer of the stomach. He was born Feb. 11, 1851, at Unionville, Center county, and is survived by his wife and the following sons and daughters: D. E. Sheets of Cairnbrook, Somerset county; Mrs. T. J. Criste of this city, Mrs. Anna Davis of Blairsville, Mrs. F. Gray of Twin Rocks and Mrs. F. L. Matthews of Juniata and one brother, James Sheets, of Spangler. He was a lifelong member of the Barnesboro Methodist Episcopal church, where he formerly resided. The body was taken to the home of his daughter, Mrs. F. L. Matthews, 815 Fifth avenue, Juniata, where private funeral services will be conducted on Sunday evening by Rev. J. K. Knisely. The body will be taken on Monday morning to Osceola Mills for interment.
