Shellenberger, of East Eleventh street died shortly after midnight yesterday from pneumonia after a week's illness. He was the only son of ex-Councilman B. G. Shellenberger and was born here June 1, 1892. For some years past he had been a machine tender at the Tyrone plant of the Virginia Pulp and Paper company. He was united in marriage on October 17, 1910, with Pearl Dougherty, who survives with two children: Benjamin and Dorothy. He also leaves his father, step mother and one sister, Melen [sic] at home. Deceased was a member of the First Methodist Episcopal church of Tyrone; also of the Loyal Order of Moose, and the Paper Mill Relief association. Funeral services will be held from the late home on East Eleventh street tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock. Interment in Eastlawn cemetery. Altoona Times, Altoona, Pa., Tuesday Morning, October 29, 1918
