SHELLENBERGER

  Charles C. Shellenberger, a well known resident of Juniata county, 
formerly of this city, died at 1 o'clock yesterday afternoon in the 
Harrisburg hospital, following an operation for appendicitis.  He is 
survived by his wife and the following sons and daughters: John, 
Minerva, Samuel, Lorane, Mary, Ruby an Harriet, all at home.  He is 
also survived by his father and mother, who reside at 227 Third avenue, 
this city and by the following brothers and sisters: James, Banks, 
John, Henry, Emma, Nellie, Mrs. Bertha Shaver, Mrs. Hannah Montgomery 
and Mrs. Sylvia Raymond.  Private funeral services will be held at his 
home in Mifflintown on Monday forenoon at [obituary ends here].
