Shellenberger, or 297 East Fifth avenue, employed as a yard signalman in the local yards, died at the Mercy hospital at 7:10 o'clock Monday evening of a complication of diseases after an illness of short duration. He was born at Bunkertown, Juniata county, 66 years ago. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Margaret Long Shellenberger, and those children: Walter E.. Earl J., and Mrs. Irma L. Gregg, of this city, and Mrs. Laura J. Blontz. Clarence E., David, Mary and Martha, all at home. The aged mother, Mrs. Frances Shellenberger, with the following brothers and sisters, also survive: Banks O., of Greenwood: John H., Mrs. Edward Montgomery, Mrs. Harry Shaver, Mrs. Sylvia Raymond, Harry W., Orville Walter, and Emma E., all of this city, and Mrs. Verne Aldrich, of Philadelphia. Mr. Shellenberger was a member of the Sixth Avenue Brethren church, the Signalmen's local and the railroad relief. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the home in charge of Rev. Long, of the Sixth Avenue Brethren church.
