SHELOW'S FUNERAL FRIDAY AFTERNOON AT 2.30 The funeral of the late Thomas Shelow will be held Friday afternoon, December 23, at 2.30 o'clock. The body will be taken to the United Brethren church at 1:45 p.m. where it may be viewed until time of services, at which time the casket will be closed. Mr. Shelow passed away very suddenly yesterday at the noon hour from a heart attack. Just five minutes before he died he had talked with his wife and son, David. The body was brought to the home of his daughter, Mrs. George Garber, at Charlottesville, where it was prepared for burial. Thomas Shelow was a son of the late Thomas and Margaret Shelow, and was born at Tyrone Forge, September 29, 1855. On December 30, 1891, he was united in marriage with Miss Nannie E. Waite, who with these sons and daughters survive: Frederick H. Shelow, Bellwood; Mrs. George H. Garber, Homewood; Everett E. Shelow, Altoona; Thomas A. Shelow, Windber and David H. Shelow, Windber. One sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Fleck, of Clearfield, also survives. Mr. Shelow, who was a life-long resident of this community, was held in high esteem by all who knew him. He was a good citizen and a loving and devoted husband and father. He was a member of the Tyrone United Brethren church and the Otterbein Brotherhood. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. J. S.
