MRS. MABEL PECK SHEPPARD 

Of 224 Clark street, Bellwood, died at noon yesterday at Mercy hospital after 
a brief illness.  She was born Dec. 18, 1884, at Runville, Centre county, a 
daughter of Ephram and Ella (Weaver) Fischer.  She was first married to Jesse 
Peck who died in 1925.  Later she was married to Clarence Sheppard.  
Surviving are these children to the first marriage: Clifford Peck of Altoona, 
Mrs. Frida Asheraft of Ohio, and Mervin Peck of Bellwood, and one sister, 
Mrs. Anna Hoy of Bellefonte R. D. 2.  She was of the Presbyterian faith.  
Friends will be received after 7 o'clock this evening at the Fuoss mortuary, 
Bellwood.
