Deaths Tuesday.

Tuesday afternoon at ten minutes after 3 o'clock Miss Amelia Sherer,
oldest daughter of Joseph and Louisa Sherer, died at their residence,
corner of Sixth avenue and Twenty-fourth street, from typhoid
pneumonia and a complication of other diseases.  She had been ill for
six weeks.  Her age was 17 years and 6 months.  She was a pupil at the
Altoona high school until about two years ago, and was a very bright
and talented young lady.  She was a devout member of St. Mary's
Catholic church.
