Shoemaker died on Tuesday evening at his home, 1802 Sixth avenue of pneumonia. He was born Nov. 22, 1884, the son of Benjamin and Leah Kauffman Shoemaker of Ore Hill. He was employed in the Twelfth street shops and was a member of the Church of God, the K. of P., the I.O.O.F. and the Encampment of Odd Fellows. He is survived by his wife, two children, Warren and Elmer at home, one brother, Jesse of Baker's Summit, one sister, Sadie, of Ore Hill and the parents.
