C. Shoenfelt, 520 East Main street, Roaring Spring, Saturday afternoon at 7.30 o'clock, death being attributed to a heart ailment following an illness of four days. He was a son of George and Christiana Shoenfelt and was born in Taylor township on Sept. 26, 1856. He was united in marriage with Flora Collins at Williamsburg on Oct. 24, 1889. His wife preceded him in death. Surviving are one son, Collins C. Shoenfelt of Roaring Spring; two sisters, Mrs. Mary E. Myers of Roaring Spring and Mrs. Sara Snoberger, of Altoona, and three brothers, George B. Shoenfelt of Tulsa, Okla., Daniel Shoenfelt of Altoona and Edward Shoenfelt of Taylor township, and six grandchildren. Mr. Shoenfelt was a member of the Lutheran church and was retired eight years ago by the D. M. Bare Paper company, where he had been employed for twenty-five years.
