SHOENFELT Aged retired resident of Roaring Spring, died this morning at 3.30 o'clock at his home, 525 Poplar street, death being attributed to a complication of ailments incident to old age. He was a son of Henry and Mary Shoenfelt and was born at East Sharpsburg on Feb. 18, 1855. He was united in marriage with Eliza Jane Shaffer in Altoona on April 13, 1875. She preceded him in death. Surviving are these children: Mrs. Viola McDermott of Altoona, Henry Shoenfelt of Geeseytown and Mrs. Mary Butler, at home, and twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was a member of the Evangelical and Reformed church and a charter member of the Men's Bible class and was employed by the Blank Book company until his retirement in 1924. Friends are being received at the home. SHOENFELT - Funeral services for George E. Shoenfelt will be conducted at the church, Friday afternoon, at 2.30 o'clock in charge of his pastor, Rev. G.
