SHOENFELT Of 306 Sixth avenue, Juniata, died at his home at 11.55 o'clock last night. He was born in Martinsburg Nov. 21, 1867, a son of John and Maria (Whitaker) Shoenfelt. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Sarah Myra Shoenfelt; two sons, John E. and Chester E. of the city; two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and the following brothers and sisters: James W. of the city, Reuben W. of Hollidaysburg, Charles W. of Chester, Irvin W., Mrs. Sarah Brumbaugh and Miss Margaret, all of Martinsburg, and Mrs. Susan Ludgate of Scranton. Mr. Shoenfelt retired from the Juniata machine shop toolroom in 1937. He was a member of the Brethren church. Friends will be received at the Mauk & Yates funeral home after 6 o'clock this evening.
