SHOENFELT, A highly respected and aged resident of Huston township, died at his home two miles north of Martinsburg this morning at 3.30 o'clock, death resulting from a stroke of paralysis suffered three weeks ago. He was born in Taylor township, this county, Dec. 11, 1837, and resided in the Cove all his life, following farming. He was united in marriage with Maria Whittaker, who survives, with the following sons and daughters: James W., Altoona; Harry, Juniata; Charles, Philadelphia; Reuben, Hollidaysburg; Homer, Martinsburg R.D. 2; Irvin, at home, and Mrs. J .D. Brumbaugh and Mrs. Frank Brumbaugh, both of Martinsburg R.D. 2; Mrs. Daniel Detwiler, Altoona; Mrs. J. D. Lugdale and Misses Maggie and Ella, of Altoona, and Miss Carrie, at home.
