JOHN T. SHOENFELT

Formerly of Roaring Spring, died at Chester yesterday afternoon. A 
native of Roaring Spring RD, he was born April 24, 1886, a son of John 
and Sarah (Treese) Shoenfelt. Surviving are his wife, the former Ellen 
Schultz, and five children:  John P. of Roaring Spring, Wilbur of 
Ridley Park, and Richard, Mrs. Dorothy Replogle and Mrs. Mardelle 
Replogle, all of Chester; also 13 grandchildren, two great-
grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Burke and Mrs. Maude Helsel, 
both of Roaring Spring. He was employed as a car builder for the 
P.R.R., having retired in 1950. Friends will be received at the 
Thompson Funeral Home, Roaring Spring, after 6 p.m. tomorrow.
