An Aged and Much Respected Lady Called Home--Funeral Occurred Monday Morning. Mrs. Margaret Shoenfelt, widow of Jacob M. Shoenfelt, died at the home of her son-in-law, Mr. H. H. Hudson, at Roaring Spring, Friday, June 19, 1903, at 7:00 p.m., aged 71 years, 2 months and 29 days. The funeral occurred Monday morning from the home of H. H. Hudson. Services were held in the German Baptist church south of town, conducted by Rev. J. S. Heffner, her pastor, and interment was made in the Albright cemetery. Mrs. Shoenfelt was born near East Sharpsburg and was a daughter of Frederick and Margaret Snowberger. Her husband, Jacob M. Shoenfelt, died May 30, 1902, and she had her home with her daughter, Mrs. H. H. Hudson at the time of her death. For many years she was a member of the Reformed church. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Susan Croft and Mrs. H. H. Hudson, of Roaring Spring; Mrs. S. M. Nicodemus and Mrs. Maggie Harpster, of Altoona; Mrs. Barbara Smith, of Bellwood, and Mrs. Della Hoover, of near Martinsburg.
