SHOENFELT Of 1109 Walnut street, Hollidaysburg, a retired instructor in the vocational department of the Altoona Senior High school, died at 8.55 o'clock this morning at his home following an extended illness. He was born at Martinsburg March 20, 1869, a son of John and Mariah (Whittaker) Shoenfelt, and married Miss Blanche Carney March 6, 1895, at Hollidaysburg. Mr. Shoenfelt was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are his wife, one son, Lee Shoenfelt of Hollidaysburg; one daughter, Mrs. Charlotte Frye of Williamsburg; three sisters, Mrs. Sarah Brumbaugh and Miss Margaret Shoenfelt of Martinsburg and Mrs. Susan Ludgate of Scranton; three brothers, James W. Shoenfelt of Altoona, Irvin W. of Martinsburg and Charles W. of Philadelphia; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
