MRS. ELIZABETH SHOOP.

  Mrs. Elizabeth Shoop, of 909 Nineteenth avenue, died at her home at 9 
o'clock yesterday morning after a five month's illness.  She was born 
at Alum Bank, Bedford county, and was married to William H. Shoop on 
September 17, 1865.  Her husband died twenty-two years ago.  The 
following children survive: Richard, of Frankstown; Mrs. Susan 
Lingenfelter, of Claysburg; Mrs. William Ritz, of Altoona; Mrs. Thomas 
Vipond, of Hilltop; William, of Pittsburg, Mrs. A. D. Shoemaker, of 
Harrisburg; Mrs. Martha Imler, of Duncansville; Joseph and James who 
reside in the west, and Lizzie, John and Maud, at home.  Private 
funeral services will be held at the late home tomorrow afternoon, by 
the Rev. Dr. John Feltwell, pastor of the Calvary Baptist church.  
Private interment will be made in Rose Hill cemetery.  The remains may 
be viewed this afternoon between 2 and 5 o'clock and this evening 
between 7 o'clock at 9:30.  Please omit flowers.
