SHOOP.

  Mrs. [Miss] Elizabeth Shoop died yesterday morning at 10 o'clock at 
the residence of C. E. Rutherford, 414 Third street, following an 
attack of pneumonia.  She was born in Bedford county Dec. 24, 1874, and 
is survived by five brothers and six sisters: R. M. of Hollidaysburg, 
William and Joseph of Pittsburgh, James, somewhere in the west; John in 
military service of the Unites States, Mrs. Susan Lingenfelter of East 
Freedom, Mrs. Mary Ritts of this city, Mrs. Martha Imler of 
Duncansville, Mrs. Owen Vipond of Hilltop and Mrs. Andy Shoemaker and 
Miss Maud of Harrisburg.  She was employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad 
company and was a member of the Lutheran church.  Funeral services will 
be conducted at the residence Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock and 
interment will be in Rose Hill cemetery.
