Short, wife of Sherman W. Short, died at 1.30 yesterday afternoon at her home, 412 Sixth avenue, after an illness of chronic gastritis. She was born in Blair county, Oct. 14, 1867. She is survived by her husband and one child, 6 months old; also her mother, Mrs. Mary A. Mack, four brothers and four sisters - John, Joseph and Rosa Mack, all of this city; James and Christian Mack, Mrs. Joseph Zimberbyn and Mrs. Peter Conaway, of Gallitzin, and Mrs. Joseph Wilt, of Turtle Creek. Deceased was a member of St. Mark's church. The remains will be taken to Summit, Cambria county, on Pacific Thursday morning, where services will be held in St. Aloysius church.
