Died.

SHORT - In this city, March 21, Peter Short, aged 59 years, 7 months 
and 3 days.
  Funeral will take place from his late residence, Sixth avenue, 
between Twenty-second and Twenty-third streets, this afternoon at 1 
o'clock, to proceed to St. John's Catholic Cemetery.  Friends of the 
family invited.
