William Short died yesterday afternoon at 3.45 o'clock at the home of his sister, Mrs. William Minder, 1623 Eleventh avenue, death being caused by pneumonia from which he suffered for several days. He was born in this city on April 6, 1878, and was employed by the P.R.R. Co., under Captain J. W. Carroll. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Harriet Short and the following sisters: Mrs. William Minder, with whom he made his home; Mrs. Folk and Mrs. Anwood of South Fork. Also by two daughters, Helen and Anna of this city. The remains may be viewed at any time at the Stevens mortuary in rest room No. 3. He was a member of the Catholic church. No time has been set for the funeral, but the interment will be made in Calvary cemetery.
