MARTINSBURG MATTERS.
DEATH OF AN OLD CITIZEN.

  Samuel Shriver, a notice of whose extreme illness has appeared in the 
TRIBUNE, died yesterday morning at 4 o'clock at the advanced age of 82 
years.  Mr. Shriver was one of our best known and most respected 
citizens, and had by industry and thrift amassed considerable wealth.  
His funeral will take place from his late residence on Saturday, the 
21st inst., at 9 o'clock, and his remains will be interred in the 
graveyard attached to what is known as the "cross-roads" Brethren 
church.
