MRS. GRACE EDNA SHUBERT

  Mrs. Grace Edna Shubert, wife of David Herbert Shubert, died at her 
home at Martinsburg at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon of a complication 
of diseases, following a short illness.  Deceased was the daughter of 
John and Mary Lehman and was born on November 22, 1887.  She had 
resided in Martinsburg and vicinity and was married on October 9, 1911, 
to David Herbert Shubert who survives with two children, Richard and 
Naomi.  She is also survived by her mother, one brother, Charles, of 
Martinsburg, and three sisters, Mrs. H. M. Ford, of Altoona and Mrs. T. 
C. Smith and Mrs. D. H. Hoover, of Martinsburg.  She was a member of 
St. John's Reformed church and was held in respect and esteem by those 
who shared her acquaintance.  Before her marriage she was operator for 
the Morrison Cove Telephone company and was a very obliging and 
competent employe.  The funeral arrangements will be announced later.
