"Sugar Bear" Shultz, 63, of 2 West 11th St., Tyrone, PA died Monday, Feb. 18, 2008 at the Tyrone Hospital. He was born Dec. 7, 1944 in Tyrone, a son of the late James Henry and Gladys May (Kimberling) Shultz. He is survived by seven brothers and sisters: Donald Kimberling, Connie Muir, Nancy Weakland, and Shirley Shultz of Tyrone; Betty Knipple and Ronald Shultz of Altoona; and Robert Shultz of Xenia, Ohio. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers George S. and James H. Shultz and a great nephew Gage Weakland. He was a graduate of Tyrone Area High School in 1962, served in the PA National Guard and enjoyed camping. He retired on disability in 1992 as a mechanic from J. C. Yenter Contractor. A memorial service will be held Friday, Feb. 22, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Derman Funeral Home, Inc., Tyrone, with Rev. P. William Glunt officiating. Inurnment will be at Grandview Cemetery. There will be no viewing, but the family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday. Tyrone Daily Herald, Tyrone, Pa., February 20, 2008
