GEORGE E. SHUNK

Formerly of 1814 Twelfth avenue, died at the Wicker convalescent home 
at 6.30 o'clock last evening, after an extended illness. He was born at 
Jennerstown May 30, 1869, the son of Jonathan and Amanda (Shaffer) 
Shunk. His wife, Myrtle (Thomas) Shunk, died 20 years ago. Surviving 
are one sister, Mrs. Charles N. Persing of Bellwood, and several 
nieces. He was a member of the First Methodist church and a retired 
engineer of the Pennsylvania railroad. Friends will be received at the 
Laughlin funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening.
