Shunk of 305 Fifty-seventh street, Roselawn, died at the Mercy hospital on Saturday evening at 10.30 o'clock of pneumonia, after an illness of one week. He was born in this city on Sept. 24, 1884, and was employed by the Pennsy in the blacksmith shop. He was a member of the Lutheran church and of the P.R.R. relief. He is survived by his wife and two children, Carl and Viola, both at home. He is also survived by one brother, C. W. Shunk of this city and by his father and several brothers in Oklahoma. The funeral will be held from the Stevens mortuary on Tuesday afternoon. Interment in Oak Ridge cemetery.
