Miss Maggie Jane, eldest daughter of John and Jennie Silinger, died after a short illness at the home of her parents, on Blair avenue, at 5.05 o'clock Monday evening, from inflammation of the bowels, aged 22 years, 4 months and 7 days. She is survived by both parents and one sister, Laura, and the grandmothers of both families, Mrs. Silinger and Mrs. Jane A. Stewart - the latter the mother of Mrs. Jennie Silinger, now in her 83d year. Maggie was a good girl, a member of the German Lutheran church since 1887, and a teacher in the Sunday school. She was prominent as a saleslady in many of our commercial established, and lately was a canvasser, preferring outdoor work to being housed in a storeroom, all of which positions she filled to the satisfaction of her employers. She was a kind and affectionate daughter and sister and the loss to the family circle is a severe one. The funeral will occur on Thursday afternoon, 3d, at 2 o'clock.
