Mrs. Silinger was a member of the German Lutheran church of Tyrone and when in health took an active interest in the affairs of that society. She was a devoted wife and fond mother, always solicitous for the welfare of her children. As a neighbor, she was kind and ever ready with a willing hand to render service where needed.
