FRANCES R. SIMMONS

Formerly of Altoona, died at 2 a.m. yesterday, Dec. 2, 1974, in the 
Methodist Nursing Center, Pittsburgh. She was born in Altoona Sept. 2, 
1882, the daughter of George C. and Lucy C. (Cassidy) Fortenbaugh, and 
married Walter J. Simmons who preceded her in death. She is survived by 
a niece. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in 
the H. Samson, Inc., Funeral Home, Pittsburgh.

SIMMONS - Funeral services for Mrs. Frances R. Simmons of the Methodist 
Nursing Center, Pittsburgh, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, in the 
chapel at Alto-Reste Burial Park by the Rev. William H. Wassel, 
followed by interment. Friends will be received at the H. Samson, Inc., 
Funeral Home, 537 Neville St., Pittsburgh, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. 
today.
