JESSIE SIPE Of 3300 Sixth avenue, died suddenly at her home at 2:20 o'clock yesterday afternoon of a heart attack after having been in failing health for the past several years. She was born on Jan. 22, 1881, at Topeka, Kans., a daughter of Samuel and Ida Claybaugh, and was united in marriage with Albert L. Sipe at Williamsburg on May 23, 1896. For the past twenty-two years she had resided in Altoona. Surviving are three sons and two daughters, Fred M. Sipe of Rochester, N.Y., Floyd M. of Eldorado, Mrs. Fay Hileman of the city, Eugene and Fay Sipe, at home; seven grandchildren, her step-father, Enos Cook of Williamsburg, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Irene Ford, Mrs. Florence Claybaugh, Misses Grace and Freda Cook of Lane, Mont., John Claybaugh of Luke, Md., Mrs. M. J. Shoemaker of Springdale, and Mrs. Olive Everly and Glen Claybaugh of the city. Mrs. Sipe was a member of the Simpson Methodist church. Funeral services will be held at the home at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon. Interment will be made in Alto-Reste cemetery. The body may be viewed at the home. Altoona Mirror, May 11, 1934
