SKELLEY.

  Mrs. Gertrude Mary Skelley, wife of Roy E. Skelley, died on Tuesday 
night at 9.15 o'clock at the family home, 2420 Sixth avenue, of 
pneumonia, after an illness since Thanksgiving day.  She was born in 
Altoona on March 15, 1896, the daughter of William and Elizabeth Leidy, 
and was married on July 27, 1917, in Cumberland, Md.  Surviving are the 
husband and one son, Albert Richard, aged 5 months, and the following 
sisters and brothers: Mrs. Homer Ritchey and Miss Verna Leidy, of 
Martinsburg, Mrs. Thomas Emory of Altoona and William Leidy of 
Duncansville.  She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic church and 
of the Altar society of the church.  The funeral will be held Saturday 
morning at 10 o'clock with a requiem high mass at Sacred Heart church.  
Interment will be made in Calvary cemetery.
