MRS. LIZZIE NORA SKYLES

Wife of John M. Skyles, retired vice president of the First National bank, 
Altoona, died at her home, 106 West Holmes avenue, at 8 o'clock Sunday 
morning.  She was born May 15, 1864, at Martinsburg, R. D., a daughter of 
Jacob S. and Elizabeth (Spang) Nicodemus, and married Mr. Skyles April 16, 
1896, at her home in Martinsburg, R.D.  Surviving are her husband and one 
niece, Emma Nicodemus of New York city.  She was educated at the Juniata 
institute at Martinsburg and was a member of First Presbyterian church of 
Altoona.  Friends will be received at the K. R. Miller funeral home, 
Martinsburg.
