MRS. FLORENCE SLAVIN.

  Mrs. Florence Slavin, wife of John Slavin, a structural iron worker 
for the Fuller Construction company here, died at 11 o'clock Friday 
night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Laurie of North Pennsylvania 
avenue from influenza.  She was aged 22 years and was united in 
marriage in California to John Slavin in 1914.  She had been in Tyrone 
but one week.  She leaves her husband and her parents.  The remains 
will be taken to Montreal, Canada, for interment.
