Slemmer of 214 East Logan avenue, died of complications at 8:30 this morning, being ill since last Saturday. She was born on March 2, 1878, in Altoona, a daughter of John and Martha (McKee) Dougherty. She married Milton G. Slemmer on Aug 18, 1903. Mrs. Slemmer is survived by her mother, three daughters, Mrs. Grace Baker of Philadelphia, Mrs. Charlotte Trexler and Mrs. Viola Miller, both of Altoona; two sons, Clyde of the United States Navy and James of Mazurie, Ohio. Two sisters and three bothers, Mrs. Dora Hoeffler, Mrs. Verna Rabold, J. A. Dougherty, H. W. Dougherty and J. B. Dougherty, all of Altoona, also survive her. Mrs. Slemmer was a member of the First United Brethren Church and of the Missionary and Ladies Aid societies of the church. Friends will be received at the Myers funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening. SLEMMER - Funeral services for the late Anna B. Slemmer of 314 East Logan avenue, will be held at the Myers funeral home Sunday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock with Rev. Warren H. Hayes officiating. Interment following in Rosehill cemetery.
