MRS. HANNAH SMALLEY

  Mrs. Hannah Smalley, wife of C. E. Smalley, of Greenwood, died at 
7.30 o'clock yesterday morning at the Blair County hospital after an 
illness covering a period of several months.  Deceased was born on 
February 17, 1878, and had resided in this city and vicinity for many 
years.  She was a member of the Greenwood United Brethren church and is 
survived by her husband, one sister and four brothers, Mrs. Emma 
Thompson, Oliver and Millard Jones, of Greenwood; George and Charles 
Jones, of Cincinnati.  The remains were prepared for burial by Rohrer & 
Mauk, of Juniata, and taken to the home of her sister, Mrs. Thompson, 
of Greenwood.  Funeral services will be conducted there Saturday 
afternoon at 2.30 o'clock by her pastor, Rev. McCurdy.  Interment in 
Greenwood cemetery.
