Smith, wife of Jacob Smith, died at her home, 823 Seventh avenue of apoplexy, with which she was stricken on the 21st of last month. The deceased wag aged 55 years, 7 months and 5 days, and was born in Lebanon, April 27, 1846. She was married in that city to Mr. Smith on May 15, 1865. She leaves her husband and these children: Mrs. Harry Curry, of Altoona; Mrs. Roland C. Musser, of Allegheny city, and Mrs. John Shugar, of Lebanon. She also leaves two brothers: Lemuel Stains, of Chicago, and Henry Stains, residing in one of the Dakotas. The deceased was a member of Trinity Reformed church and of the Mite society connected therewith. She was a good wife and mother as she was a good daughter and an earnest Christian woman.
