ANTHONY SMITH.

  Anthony Smith, a homeless traveler, who claimed Brooklyn as his 
native town, died at the hospital Tuesday of pneumonia.  He was very 
ill when admitted January 1.  Coroner McCartney investigated the death 
and turned the body over to the county undertaker.  Smith was aged 65 
years and a Catholic.
